Amazing Stay — A Special Place!
Amazing stay! All around, wonderful place! The hosts were extremely helpful, met us at the airport, took us to the grocery store, and were available anytime we had questions. The place is exquisitely decorated, has everything you need in the kitchen, and has an amazing dock to watch sunsets. You definitely need a car. There are several great restaurants 10 min away, or have them cook for you at the house. We drove to Camp Bay beach one day, beautiful! We stayed in West End the second half of our trip. We regretted not staying at Dakota Breeze longer. It's a special place!
Upscale, Accommodating, and Made Us Feel Safe
Been on Royal Caribbean cruises and an all inclusive resort in Cancun. Wanted something mid island because we rented a car. Dakota Breeze was upscale and accommodating. We chose to have Burlee cater the first day we arrived since we knew nothing about Roatan. Fantastic! The decor was exceptional, the security was available and walked the property often. We had to get used to it but it made us feel safe. Every touch in this house was well thought out. They have a take one leave one counter in the master. It was lovely, we got to see so many brands of bug spray and sunscreen. I didn't see the coffee we were supposed to get and they drove by and dropped it off and left extra paper towels and trash bags as well. Excellent communication!!! Thanks for making our first real international trip legit.
Beautifully Decorated, Peaceful Paradise
From the moment we arrived, Daysi gave us a warm welcome, showing us around and answering all our questions. The house is beautifully decorated, with each bedroom featuring a unique theme. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals, making our stay even more convenient. There were plenty of amenities. The bedrooms were cozy and inviting, while the spacious bathrooms added an extra level of comfort. With just five of us, the house felt incredibly large—it easily accommodates up to 10 guests. One of our favorite spots was the porch, furnished with comfortable seating where we spent hours enjoying family time, reading, and soaking in the breathtaking ocean view. The peacefulness of the area was truly unmatched, making our stay even more special. After over 15 years of vacationing in West Bay, we decided to try this side of the island for the first time—and we're never going back to West Bay
A One in a Million Property — Magical Sunsets
The house is beautiful; everything is designed with purpose to match the style of the property. The house is spectacular in every area; it had kayaks and its own private dock. The sunrises and sunsets are magical. After staying at this property, I will no longer go back to tourist areas. The peace you find here is simply special… Deysi, the person in charge, is super attentive and always responsive; she made sure everything was perfect. We will definitely be back…

Wonderful Family Getaway with Two Families!
We can't say enough good to help you understand how wonderful this property is! Luxurious! Spacious. We had 2 families (4 adults and 4 kids) and the accommodations were perfect. The beach and view are gorgeous! Daisy met us at our car rental, escorted us to Eldon's for groceries and then to the home. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were comfortable. We found the location perfect for those that want to spend time on both ends of the island. We spent time on the East end during the busy cruise ship days as well as visited the West end which is about 50 minutes away. Recommend a SUV for those that want to venture East. Thanks again for sharing your place with us! We made some fantastic memories!
Beautiful Accommodations on a Quiet Beach
Our party of 6 adults stayed at Dakota Breeze for 2 weeks at the end of February. The house itself is beautiful and Ryan has done a great job decorating it. The accommodations - living area, kitchen, bedrooms, baths, etc - provide everything you need to make your stay comfortable. The view from the living room and spacious, covered deck is amazing. We loved spending our mornings sipping coffee on the deck or at the end of the pier before heading out for the day's activities. A few in our party also enjoyed time in the beach chairs and hammocks included with the property reading and relaxing. The beach is semi-private and shared by just a handful of houses. The next-door neighbor was very helpful in directing us to some of the local resources like Paudy's Secret Spot bar/restaurant at the end of the beach, snorkeling near the mangroves, and delicious baked goods and dinners from some of the women in the local village. We also took advantage of the in-house chef a couple nights and had wonderful seafood and BBQ dinners prepared for us. Dakota Breeze is located on a quieter part of the island away from most of the busyness of the cruise ship traffic, yet a short drive away from activity spots like West Bay and West End, which we visited twice. If you're looking for beautiful accommodations on a quiet beach with local food options and snorkeling, with access to more activities within a short drive, then you can't go wrong with Dakota Breeze.
Most Amazing Stay at Dakota Breeze!
We had the most amazing stay at Dakota Breeze! The house is stunning, had everything we could possibly need and the location was perfect for us. We are not fans of crowded tourist areas and this house is tucked away in the most charming spot with beautiful ocean views. We also enjoyed having the peace of mind knowing the house runs on solar power. We were so sad to leave this place and would 10/10 recommend this place for anyone considering visiting Roatan!!
Dakota Breeze - 5 ⭐️’s
Loved our visit to the Dakota Breeze in Milton Bight. The property is as good as it looks in pictures - and even more so. The weather started out rainy the week we were there, but there was plenty to keep us occupied! I would also say Dakota Breeze maintained power because of solar banks, while other houses in area went without for a few days. But, when the rainbow came and the sun followed…wow! The people we came in contact with from the property management, the drivers and the personal chef we had one night were so friendly and accommodating! Hope to be able to come back and enjoy this property someday in the future
Awesome, Incredible Place!
We were at Dakota Breeze form Feb.7-14/25. Two couples in their 50's. What an amazing place. This is truly an 11 on a scale of 10. The house is magnificent and incredibly well decorated. It's right on the beach and has access to a great Palapa where we would enjoy a cocktail while watching the sunset each night. Also a great sandy place to swim right off the Palapa too! The house has everything you need including some great sea kayaks and snorkeling gear. We had a great time kayaking through the mangroves and snorkeling on the reef. Two of us enjoyed diving with Turquoise Bay Resort which is just down from Dakota Breeze and boasts an excellent dive facility. The staff at Dakota Breeze was super helpful meeting us at the airport and showing us where to grab groceries and where the house is located. The beach was raked daily and there was security every night keeping watch over the houses there. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. Couple tips - it is in a jungle so there are lots of no see ums, make sure to use that bug spray or risk getting bit. Also a rental car is a must for this location and makes for some interesting drives. Make sure you travel to both the east end and the west end of Roatan to really appreciate the differences this island has to offer. I highly, HIGHLY recommend this spot to anyone thinking about going to Roatan! Cheers!
