Camp Bay Beach – Free Public Beach about 30 minutes away. Laid back atmosphere, no service people selling you stuff, etc. Just a beautiful large beach to swim and soak in the sun.

Tiki Boat Cruise - tikiofroatan.com. They will pick you up at Dakota Breeze, provide you with a day of fun, and drop you back off. Party boat plus tour boat = best of both worlds. Includes swimming and stops, drinks and food, depending on your package.

Danial Johnson's Monkey & Sloth Hangout - https://monkeyandslothhangout.com/site/ - you don't have to book a tour. You can just stop in at the hangout and pay an entrance fee of $12 per person (currently).
Gumbalimba Park - https://gumbalimbapark.com/ - See green and black iguanas, agoutis, white-faced monkeys, Scarlett and Green Macaws, parrots, and other species of fauna. Plus enjoy a peaceful sandy beach with lounge chairs, a freshwater pool, museum and pirate's cave. A little bit of a drive (west side of the island) but they do a great job. Again, you don't need to book a tour. You can just pay an entrance fee.
